#NAIAS: STUD or DUD — Is The All-New Lincoln Continental's EXTERIOR Making Your Heart Quiver?
While we were happy to bring you all of the latest information about Lincoln's big announcement yesterday, now we're going to dive in a bit deeper. Although we do appreciate the studio photographs the public relations' departments distribute, we know one thing remains true.
You miss out on an awful lot by judging an all-new product that way.

Not only are there a plethora of details the OEMs typically miss, there's no question in our minds that a vehicle snapped in an environment that's less controlled, and altered than a studio, provides our users with a bit more reality.
Though a show floor is hardly an uncontrolled environment, it certainly is better than a file photo. Having said all of that, we wanted to take this opportunity to show you the all-new, production Lincoln Continental from the outside.
Agent 001 went all over the exterior of the car to give you the BEST first look. That said, we want to know what your impression is of the all-new Continental. Is it a STUD or a DUD?

re: article's title -- "Lincoln" and "quivering heart" don't fit in the same sentence with me.
Still, I take off my hat to the Lincoln team for the substantial strides they've made in raising their bar, and for rightfully getting noticed.

It's nice. It's handsome. "Quiver-worthy", not really.

So Lincoln was able to "borrow" the shape of a 2002 Infiniti M45 and graft a cleaner version of a Maserti Quattroporte front-end and the automotive journalist go crazy . . .
Does automotive journalism = redistribution of press releases?

The door handles look like they were designed for people with arthritis or wear bulky gloves.

I give them credit for coming up with a few things I haven't seen before in the door handles and mirrors
