#NAIAS: Did The Nissan IDS Concept Catch Your Eye? Then Just Wait Until You See It F'Real!
If you think about it, Nissan was showcasing two vehicles that are essentially polar opposites. On the main stage was the all-new Nissan Titan Warrior Concept. Essentially, it is a concept that shows what a Titan would look like if Nissan decides to take on the Ford F-150 Raptor.

Raised above and placed in the back corner, however, was something far, far different. It was the all-new Nissan IDS Concept.

This is Nissan's take at an automobile that benefits from an electric drivetrain as well as an autonomous driving experience. But rather than look lame like the curvy and dopey Nissan Leaf, the IDS has much more aggressive lines.

Personally, my favorite part of its design is the rear fender. When you're standing directly behind the vehicle you can tell how it was purposefully molded for aerodynamics — I even see a hint of BMW i8 in its rear fender.

But rather than have me ramble on — I can do this endlessly — I wanted to see what YOU thought about it after taking a look at Agent 001's excellent snaps.

So, what's the verdict, Spies?

Renault has to be doing the styling for Nissan. The French adore hideous eyesores and this one is criminally bad.

I mean it's OK to see the up side in everything, but the "agents" here tend to over gush to the point that we non-agents have to roll our eyes most of the time. Yes I know you're in the industry and slamming rather than gushing would get you quickly uninvited. Not trying to be combative, but...

The problem with this concept is that it looks like it should have been or could have been the concept for the current Murano. So, basically, it feels late to the party since so many design elements already appear in production with the Murano.
