Isn't it interesting that the Audi holds 51% of it's value compared to the BMW's 45%? In Europe, Audi's have higher resale than BMW's across the board.

I never liked the original TT and I don't like the new one either. It doesn't look "new" at all but more like a facelifted version of the original.

The Z4 Coupe also doesn't speak to me. The regular Z4 on the other hand does.

I'll take the NEW Z Coupe.
New TT has put on weight especially at the rear.
And the above pic shows it clearly.

The winner will be the one that sells the most cars.

I'd put my money on BMW.

As a BMW fan I am happy with the results for this. The Z4 scored better in the categories I would look for (who buys a two door sports car when they need practicality), and I personally think the Z4 looks great, where as I really didn't like the old TT at all (although the new one looks a lot better than the old one).

( imo ) 0% appeal with either model.

I love the new TT. I Knew it would win over the Z4 anyday in every category.

I loved to here this about the Z4 too, "With higher initial costs and steeper depreciation, it will also be the more expensive car to own and run."

Gotta love that!

i'd pick the coupe tt over the z4, but the z4 convert over the tt.
and yes audiman, audis hold their value much better than bmws here. even the a8 does.

YZF, it didn't win in every category

TT is more of a sports car than the Z4 coupe.
The Z4 coupe's price vs. the roadster should give u a big clue why
HINT: coupe is cheaper

JUGNU-

Actually, the new TT weighs between 100lbs and 150lbs less than the last-gen across the board.

I have never liked the Z4- it's one of two BMWs that I hate (X3). TT all the way.

S4cabriofox beat me to it, the new TT is MUCH lighter than the old one. BTW, for the lazy, the Audi TT won.

BTW the new "flame surfaced" Z4 has had very poor sales compared to the old Z3. I wonder why???

And I'm pretty sure the last-gen TT sold better than the Z3 and Z4 put together.

Style definitely sells. But now, it has substance to back it up!
