SPIED: So, ALPINA TEASED The All-New B7 But We've Got The LATEST Spy Shots HERE! Watch It Undress...
In the last thread you may have seen a rather shadowy video that simply teased the all-new, upcoming ALPINA BMW B7 sedan. That's nice and all, but why bother with the clip when we can just give you the full show?

Don't mind the camouflage.

As noted previously, while BMW's M division will not build an M7 just yet, this is as good as it will get for the meantime.

In typical ALPINA form, the all-new B7 will follow the footsteps of previous ALPINA products and the last-gen B7. That means it will get slightly different exterior bits with a customized and dressed up interior. In these spy photos you will note the following changes:

- New front clip
- New front lip
- Lowered stance, which hints at a firmer Sport suspension
- New rear decklid spoiler
- New rear clip with an integrated, quad-tipped exhaust in its rear diffuser element
- New wheel/tire package that we're sure will be the typical ALPINA "radial" design — the 1980s will never go out of style, just like that piano neck tie.

You can put tons of lipstick on the pig, but a pig it remains. The new 7 Series looks 5 years old and Camry dull. A full reskinning is needed.

I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with MDarringer.

The head lights touching the "double kidneys" kills it for me. And the boring rear section/tail lights. I think the VFL style is awaiting the future 9-series sedan and GC. Hopefully.

I am praying to all gods that they don't mess up with the 5

The new 5 looks like another stand-still design.

I live in NYC and the Hamptons, the new 7-Series has been on sale for about 2 or 3 months. I have not seen ONE of these on the streets.

I drove by "BMW of the Hamptons" last Friday afternoon and they had about 5 or 6 of these sitting on their front lot waiting for customers. I would garner that Jag will sell more XJ's than this 7.

Anyone see this on the street?

They are not to be seen. Did a transport ship sink? There are no 7-Series in the NYC area.

I live in an area where Rolls, Bentleys and Ferraris are a dime a dozen. Have not seen a single new 7 yet, either. I have seen three brand new Maybachs, though.

Actually, I thought I saw a new 7, but it was an old 7. Go figure.

I saw one in Uptown Dallas last week. I barely noticed the difference from the last car. Nothing special...already redesign time.

You would garner wrongly:

Model year 2015 in USA

7 Series: 9292 units
XJ: 3611 units
Equus: 2332 units

I included the Equus because it illustrates how dire Jaguar's position is. If the merely OK Equus with no brand gravitas can sell 2/3 as well as a vaunted Jaguar, then Jaguar has problems. And that would be its Merkur Scorpio revivalist styling.

I predict that in 2016 Mercedes and Audi will lose even more ground to the S Class juggernaut.

Those had better not be the Alpina wheels; they're hideous. Only the multispoke wheel does the B7 any justice.

Saw one on the road today and couldn't drive away from it fast enough. hideous looking beast
