Ford Packing Bags And Pulling Out Of Japanese And Indonesian Markets At The End Of The Year
Ford is to close down its import operations in Japan and Indonesia, according to media reports.

The US giant will shut its Japanese dealerships and stop selling the Focus, Fiesta and Mustang by the end of this year. The brand also offered the Ecosport, Kuga and Explorer SUVs through its dealers.

Ford also sold two Lincoln models in Japan - the Navigator and MKX SUVs - which will also be withdrawn from the local market.

Why were they pushing cars that barely sell well here? The only Ford/Lincoln I would honestly consider owning is the Fusion/MKZ and if that can't sell in those countries then they should pull out.
