Ford UAW Workers Earn $9300 Profit Sharing Bonus For 2015

Ford Motor Co.’s 52,900 hourly UAW workers will receive record profit-sharing checks totaling $9,300 this March, although the Dearborn automaker has already paid out $1,500 of that.

The Dearborn automaker on Thursday reported a full-year North American pre-tax profit of $9.3 billion. Its profit sharing formula, unchanged as part of a new four-year pact with the union, rewards workers with $1 for every million dollars of North American profits.

The previous Ford profit sharing record was $8,800, passed out two years ago.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for strong Unions. Or else at those multi-millions in pure profit paid to actual line workers would be going straight into the pockets of already-wealthy CEO's and Senior Execs.

@Rockreid..Amen!!! And let's throw a prayer up from those BIG checks that UAW workers get for putting nuts, bolts, screws on while our school teachers worked work to teach quality education are so underpaid. Let's throw one up to the big man for all those benefits UAW workers get piled on including those long pot smoking lunch breaks, beer breaks and building the highest quality cars in the world (NOT). Let's give one more ya-hoo that when a UAW worker gets fired for smoking pot ON THE JOB, coming back to work HIGH, and placing their stupidity above the safety of others. And finally one more shout-out when the UAW worker goes to their local union representative to get their job back from their employer (aka Chrysler). Get really..... Maybe you should all strike for more vending machines with pot in them in the break room now.

Lets raise the dividend so we can all win and lets not allow these unions to get too greedy and suck the life out of the auto industry like they have done with every other industry in this country.

A $9.3K bonus? Why? This is the UAW ruining the auto industry in the USA.

I'm sure the Dodge brothers would not be happy with this.
