SPIED: All-New Spy Shots Of The Next-Gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class COUPE — First Pics HERE!
In my last thread you may have seen the all-new, Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe for the very first time. While that spy video may have been very helpful in showing you the latest all-new three-pointed star on the horizon, these excellent spy shots are definitely more revealing.

That's because you can analyze the high quality snaps in great detail.

After checking them out thoroughly, it's apparent that Mercedes is going to keep pushing strong with its latest design themes observed on the S-Class and C-Class. This sets up the all-new E-Class Coupe to be a slinky and streamlined design that will slot in perfectly between the high volume Mercedes and the flagship model.

While the first prototypes we're seeing are wrapped head-to-toe and equipped with heavy cladding in specific areas — the rear decklid and the C-Pillar — the overall shape echos what we've seen before.

We'll be sure to bring you more photos as they pour in and details start to become evident. Until then, enjoy the best spy pics out there!

Looks like more droopy buttedness no doubt with predictable styling themes. Although I think the E Class looks much better than the 5 Series or the A6, it's still a visual bore when all is said and done. I suspect the coupe will be equally boring visually.

The rear end looks like a "bustle" BMW - a mistake if true. Otherwise - Mercedes had moved away from the clear styling distinction between the E class and others higher and lower - and that is also a mistake. Making the E class hard to distinguish from the C class may sell more C class models.

However - now that Lincoln has announced that the Base price for a Continental will be BELOW $50K - the tweener cars (5 series, C class, A6) are in for some competition in the USA (Yes - I know that does not apply to other areas of the globe)
