Ferrari Boss Indicates Michael Schumacher's Health Is Worsening

The condition of the multiple Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher was the subject of fresh concern on Thursday evening following a remark from his old Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo, who said: “I have news and unfortunately it is not good.”

The former Ferrari president, who said he was “always checking up on the driver”, was speaking to journalists in Milan, and added: “Michael was a great driver, and we experienced a long time together in both our personal and professional lives. But life is really strange. He was the most successful driver of Ferrari and in his career he had only one accident, in 1999. But unfortunately a fall in a ski accident has broken him.”

That is very sad. I had so hoped he would make strong headway.

I feel it for Michael, very sad. If his injuries had occurred during a car race, it would probably be a little easier to accept, because one could say that was the risk he takes as a race car driver, but on a skiing trip! Man, life is so unpredictable

A terrible shame... still pulling for Shumacher to eventually get better. I don't think we really know what condition he is in, at all.

A friend of my granddaughter is only 7 years old, and has an incurable brain tumor (DIPG). It's terrible to see such a bright, fun little girl now bloated from medication and treatments, knowing that she has so little time left.

None of us know how long we have on this earth. Take time to be kind and enjoy your life and all that is around you.
