Google Ramps For Production Of Self Driving Car - Will You Be One Of The First To Own One?
Google's self-driving car project is advertising dozens of jobs on its website with a special focus on manufacturing expertise.

Thirty-six jobs related to the Google X car project were listed including engineers working on motion control, displays, robotics and sensors as well as managers charged with operations, materials and marketing.

Google, which declined to comment, has denied in the past that it had any interest in making cars. Many industry experts believe the tech giant will partner with an established automaker, supplying the software that will pioneer the fully autonomous vehicle.

Nope. I already have a car I love, and I have no compelling reason to change.

And if I was about to get a new car, there are so many criteria that are much more important to me than whether it's self driving or not.

And lastly, assuming I could get a vehicle that meets my needs and it came with a free Google self-driving capability, I believe that for a purchase whose cost is as substantial as a car, I sure don't want to be on the bleeding edge of early adoption. Who believes that rev 1.0 will have no major issues?
