PHOTO: 2007 BMW 6-Series facelift

For the 2007 model year BMW has decided to spruce up the 6-series coupe with a minor facelift. This spy image of a test mule caught at Germany’s Nürburgring shows that the new version remains similar to the current model. The major change is a restyled front bumper with the integrated fog lights moved inwards. Engine options don’t change either, although the 3.0L six in the base model may be replaced with the new twin-turbo unit to form a new 635i.

Why so many changes for BMW styling???

uh, those "foglights moved inwards" are not foglights. You have the Adaptive Cruise Control laser on one side and the Night Vision sensor on the other, and you'll just about never see them in real life as very few people purchase those options.

Same ! I'm also on Safari.
It does though work on Firefox.

What did they change? The lower facia?

Whenever I try to open it, my Safari closes.

I now realize that everyone has this problem.

Will, Macs are so much better than PCs... you have no idea!

I'm the same, not a 6 series fan, just doesn't do anything for me, and I love BMW.

Will, Will... Explorer, Lexus... Where is the sense of adventure, discovery, excitement, that a young man such as yourself should naturally seek ;)

The 6 needs a new interior, badly. Also if those droopy headlights disappear, they will make many people happy (maybe even Will ;)

Any true BMWphile will know that those are not foglights moved inward! LOL! JRobUSC, you beat me to the post.

Sadly to add to the browser wars, I use firefox exclusively and even this site manages to render incorrectly quite often. Anyone else have that problem?

A facelift was really needed? I don't know.

This site works best in IE 6, no doubt.

On my mac, and yes I who used to dislike macs because of their slower processors love them now because of the much better Operating system, I have several problems with Safari (website won't display all the way, some links won't work), with Firefox the page displays but some links don't work. Just to let you know you are not the only one :O)

I love the six, and I love BMW's current styling.. but I agree that there is room for improvement on most of the models (except maybe the 5) The thing I don't like about E63 is it's lack of chin, IMO the front end of the M6 should be the standar styling, and the they should have made the M-car abit more aggresive up front.

It'll be good to see the old 635 name back in use.

My favorites are MB but some cool designs are coming from BMW And you'll have to see this MAY BE BMW M10 and you will see the 6 series like a lumpy car:

if anything, it's the ONLY bmw that doesn't need a facelift.
perhaps a bumlift though ;)

They didn't lift the face nearly enough. Still looks like the same old ugly 6.
