#NYIAS2016: Acura To Debut 2017 MDX At New York Auto Show Next Month

Acura is not letting any grass grow under the tires of its 3-year-old MDX, with the brand announcing it will debut a redesigned and reengineered version of the large CUV at next month’s New York International Auto Show.

“The ’17 MDX will boast substantial design enhancements, added luxury comfort and convenience features, and advanced new powertrain technology, in concert with the Acura brand’s focus on precision crafted performance,” Acura says in a statement.

The current MDX debuted in summer 2013 as a ’14 model

Interesting move on Acura's part. Hopefully this is the start of them pumping out re-designs with the new corporate face, and better cars overall. The current generation MDX just came out a few years ago and just had mechanical updates last year so to see something new already is crazy pace.

Brands used to update and restyle quite frequently and that is something that should come back. The problem with the RLX is that everyone can see it's an Accord with a longer wheelbase at double the cost.

The ES is based on the Avalon platform not the Camry. Every comment you make shows how little automotive knowledge you have...LOL!!
