SPIED: All-New Spy Shots Of The Audi Q5 REVEAL More Than Before
One of the most popular categories seeing extremely strong growth is the sport-utility vehicle segment. With gas prices remaining low, it seems that buyers cannot resist the temptation of a larger vehicle with a higher ride height.

It's almost as if sedans have been written off and the auto manufacturers are listening.

Just around the corner is an all-new Audi Q5. As one of the more popular entry-level luxury SUVs, it is likely that many folks are looking out for what Audi can bring to the table in this all-new generation product. We know we are.

Given the trend in the latest vehicles from the four rings, this is what we're expecting:

- Overall design to get a bit more sharp and tight;
- Hexagonal front grille a la the Q7
- All-new interior that takes creative license from the all-new Q7 and all-new A4
- Weight loss, which will make the Q5 more fuel efficient and boast better driving dynamics

That said, some all-new spy shots of the next-gen Q5 have hit the 'net. Make sure to see the FULL collection by clicking "Read Article," below!

The Q5 is currently one of Audi's best-selling models, so all I can say to Audi is: Don't f*ck it up.

The only way for Audi to screw this up is if they did to the Q5 what they did to the Q7's exterior styling. But it looks like they are sticking with the existing middle box and updating front and rear and interior. I've no doubt it will have a better driving experience and will be better technologically.

I went through all 45 pictures and didn't see any interior shots. Are they going with the stupid screen that looks like someone stuck an iPad on the dash? Personally, I don't like the pop-up screens. I want it integrated in the dash.

Have they added buttons back to select radio stations without digging into the screen menus? That was the biggest annoyance I noticed when I drove a Q5.

Besides these comments, I agree with Steve. Don't mess with it overall. The exterior shots look fine, such as you can tell with the camo. We'll just have to see the finished product.

I would imagine that they would include the virtual cockpit like in the TT/A4/Q7. But, like the A4, they may have the tacked-on screen.

Typical Audi will likely play it safe. But from what the local dealers here in the GTA are saying, the new Q7 has a 7 month waiting list. What they had/have on the lot were all sold and waiting delivery. Just thought it was interesting when a lot of people said the new Q7 will tank b/c it looks like a wagon. personally, I'm not 100% sold on it but I am disliking it less each time I see one.
We'll just have to wait and see how the Q5 looks without all the camo.
