#GIMS: TEASED! The Aston Martin DB11 Prepares For Its Close Up At The Geneva Motor Show
Aston Martin is gearing up for a big 2016 Geneva Motor Show (GIMS) debut in form of the all-new DB11. This is a watershed moment for the legendary British auto manufacturer who's technically been in business for 100 plus years.

That's because it's shedding tradition with the all-new DB11.

The old-school 6.0-liter V12 motor is going bye bye and an all-new Mercedes-AMG 5.2-liter V12 helped via forced induction is saying hello. In addition, this is the first Aston to be developed in partnership with the likes of Mercedes-Benz.

As of now we're not sure what exactly that means but from what we could see from the latest spy shots, expect a lot of Mercedes' electronics to make an appearance. Although the DB11 has been leaked several times now, we're excited to see the real deal in high resolution.

That said, get pumped up via the teaser video, below!

So basically it's leveraged the AMG GT and has an Aston body?

Wrong.

Looks to have leveraged a mixture of parts from the S-Class.

I don't think the new V12 is an AMG design. Sounds like it was developed in-house.
