With about 15 and three quarter hours left before the long anticipated Audi R8 premiere, here is the latest Photoshop. In this one, Road & Track shows how the Audi R8 Cabrio could look, it should follow soon after the coupe. One has to wonder if Road & Track used actual pre released R8 shots to base this Photoshop, I expect the R8 that will be unveiled tomorrow (2:30 pm Eastern) will look very similar to this Photoshop, of course it will have a roof. So remember, set your alarms for 2:30 pm Eastern tomorrow not to miss the R8 presentation.

BTW, their hp estimates are a bit low, I have heard 440 hp for the V8 and 510 for the V10. I have also heard that the V10 might be there tomorrow alongside the V8. If it isn't it should come within a year. The biggest mystery is the interior of course. However, I expect it to be Best in Class.

Before you say "in your face mercedes" why don't you make sure you get your car right. It's not R6. It's R8 Cabrio/coupe =). In your face. And what is a Ford Pinto supercar? Mercedes never came out with anything as bad as that car. Neither has Audi.

reminds me of the VX220 roadster. Personally I think this looks stupid compared to the tin top R8 - it makes it look really boxy

The car is not planned, logical why dont u go do homework and then tell your dad he made a big mistake of not buying an Audi.

Chewy I said the car will have about 420hp in the 4.2 and 500 in 5.2 but noone seemes to care.

BTW, that is a gross photoshop, even i can do better JK

The headlamps, the fenders and the grille will look nothing like that. Its gonna look exactly like the r8 coupe except that its in roadster version.
