Could the 2016 Geneva Motor Show (GIMS) mark the debut of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe? Maybe.

Could the 2016 New York Auto Show (NYIAS) mark the debut of the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe. I'd like to think so.

We've been following the upcoming GLC-Class Coupe since we spotted it undergoing testing and while it's most certainly a polarizing vehicle, there's no question that it will help boost the three-pointed star's sales. If you need any further convincing, just see how the GLE-Class Coupe is doing. In the New York Tri-State region it seems buyers can't get enough of them!

Ditto for the X4, which started out slow but seems to have made strides in recent months.

In this all-new spy footage, the GLC-Class Coupe is captured on camera undergoing developmental testing with nearly zero camouflage adorning its body. We're thinking that the official debut is just around the corner.

Check out the clip, below!

I think this could turn out quite nice. The proportions look decent

The GLE coupe proportions are out - front end too squished for a big round body so hopefully this addresses that GLE Coupe does not look good at all in many viewpoints

Let's not forget about the interior: the GLE's interior is ugly, outdated even for MB's standards, with several low-quality materials and plastics, disappointing buyers in the same way the new Disco is doing it. Others like the BMW X6 are not beautiful on the outside but drive much better, have great interiors, and sometimes even cost less. If they don't fix the interior issue with this model, they can expect to fall way behind BMW and quite possibly other competitors as well (NSX, Evoque?)

Hopefully Audi will show them how to design crossovers. X6 looks like a Mack truck now, X4 a waste of time, GLE blotted, wtf ? maybe these vehicles have no legitimacy to begin with. If you want an SUV get one, if you want a sedan, get one. Or buy a wagon.
