Jeremy Clarkson Reviews The 2106 Lexus GS F And His Opinion Will Shock You

WHEN THE Lexus you see in the photographs first arrived at my house, I decided I liked it. And when it went away a week later, I liked it even more. Even though it had been annoying.

I think one of the reasons I like it is that I like most smallish, fast saloon cars. They seem to make sense, because you don’t really need six acres of room in the back. The rear seats are for children, and after a party they’re happy to sleep on the floor, so they certainly won’t mind being squashed for a few minutes. And it is only ever a few minutes. It’s not as though you take them to the Kamchatka peninsula every morning, so they’re not going to develop gangrene or anything like that.

From a man who thumbed his nose at the BBC (who paid his check) and a British mag that goes hard on non-euro products? Yeah, your theory is totally believable.

Lets not forget how much BMW/AUDI spends on their marketing! Way more than Lexus!

The interesting point here is that Jeremy made several comparisons to the M3 and a few to the M5. So, the question is now, did Cadillac make a mistake of straddling the line and not making an outright concerted effort to better the M5 (or E63 or CTS-V)? In the premium segment, prestige goes along way and does the GS-F look like an overpriced M3 competitor or an underpriced M5 competitor. It's not as fast as either, but certainly appears to handle very well. But FR-S's and MX-5's handle well, too, but would one choose them over, say, a 370Z or Corvette?

one way or another this car will def be a player in the segment. for every rc-f you see on the road, that could have potentially been an m4, c63, rs5, ats-v . depending on marketing and price/ lease deals, lots of times thats why you see one over the other on the road.

Besides picking the GS-F over M3 and M5, he reaffirms the LFA as his all time favorite. Interesting the negative turbo commentary.

I love the intoxicating acceleration of a powerful turbo, but for daily drive I would prefer a proper NA V8. In this regard, the GSF seems to be the right choice for the enthusiasts.

The front end of all Lexless cars is an insult of disrespect to all Lexless customers.
The front end is hugely facile, exposed for damage and unprotected. The slightest bump from another car will cause many hundreds and thousands of dollars of damage.

Let's not forget the quality that goes into Lexus cars. They will hold up the best long term. I wouldn't own any german car after the factory warranty is up.

How did you see the shit before you wiped it? do you shit over a mirror before wiping? That's pretty odd. Anyone who spends so much effort to look at their shit needs to have their head examined.

anyone who exam his shit....needs to have his head checked. Maybe when you wipe slow and look at it, reminds you of a BMW/AUDI!

What the German car snobs don't get is that the best way to compete with BMW or Mercedes is to go in a different direction. This and the RCF are not trying to be a BMW or a Mercedes. Both are trying to be Lexus' version of premium performance and both do so admirably. I'd rather have a GSF than an AMG E Class for the simple reason of having something different. I like the CTSV for the exact same reason.,
