#NYIAS? SPIED! First, The R8 Spyder, Now THIS! All-New Audi TT RS Caught IN THE BUFF!
For what feels like eons we've watched Audi doing developmental testing on a high-end, badass TT model. Like the last-gen TT, we expected it to be a TT RS.

You know, a 2.5-liter five-cylinder screamer.

While we have no idea what will power the little R8 wannabe — it sounds like a five-cylinder motor to us — the car was completely exposed in all-new spy shots. Caught gassing up in Spain with that yellow R8 Spyder and a matte black RS5 — that's what it appears to be — the all-new TT RS was nabbed sans camouflage.

It was completely butt naked. To have TWO all-new products snapped in this way in the same week for the same brand is exceptional.

Could Audi be in on it? It's possible.

It would be a genius way to get attention before a 2016 New York Auto Show (NYIAS) debut, that's for sure. Instead of hyping a vehicle with teaser shots just give it away.

That said, a launch has to be in order shortly. Auto makers never take off the camo until its right around the corner. New York or bust? What say you, Spies?

I know VW owns Audi, but this Audi looks like it was designed by VW. And the new R8 looks like its sibling.

I don't know if I'm all that unique, but aside from the car meeting my needs, I want it to be beautiful (to me). This doesn't excite or inspire me in the least. The new A5 sneak peak is gorgeous (to me), though.

The TT is beyond played out. For its price--even the basic one--far better performance alternatives are numerous and they all look better too.

I don't get the manufactured excitement here. Like a puberty-driven kid who's seen his first naked boob. Really, as an adult or more precisely as someone who follows the auto scene, there's not much exciting going on here. Same with naked (giggle giggle) R8 Spyder. It's the same ole design for how long now, just enhanced with matchbox-car add-ons. It really looks elementary to be truthful. No way I'd pay $70-$80k to be seen in this. Maybe $45k max.

You haven't caught on that this place is the TMZ of cars?

Well, that's one person's opinion.

I am excited about all-new products because I have a passion for this space.

Doesn't mean you have to agree and, frankly, I don't care if you do/don't.
