How Much Does The Next Gen GT-R Have To Change To Put It On Your Short List?
Mobility. Technology. Connectivity. Three words we heard from literally every automaker at Geneva earlier this month. Take it for what it is, and what it isn’t. Cars are changing more rapidly every year than ever before and, one day, our kids and grandkids will stare at us in disbelief that we actually drove cars with our hands and feet.

They’ll be shocked we’re still alive to talk about our time behind the wheel without the safety and comfort of fully autonomous driving. But should we be concerned about the future of sports cars like the Nissan GT-R?

Considering the price and what I'd spend on a car they would have to make some impossible changes.

If I'm dreaming then I'd say put an Infiniti emblem on it.

If it were priced around $70k again, without the dealer tax, it would be possible. A bad place to burn $70k possibly, but still possible.

At north of $120k, probably, it is possible no more.

At this point, if they can give me a competent and fun next gen Z, 240 or 370, I would be interested.

Hard to imagine something even more contrived and distasteful looking than the current GT-R, but Nissan's clown posse design group somehow managed it.

Not be a quality s#it storm and lose $75K in pricing to make it relevant

drove around in my friends 2014 gtr a few days ago, i was thoroughly impressed . the car is just a complete beast. its not the prettiest car interior or exterior, but has good road presence and the performance is just insane.
i think 100k is too much as id rather have a slower but good enough 911.
at 80k considering whats under the hood, i think it makes great sense to get one over a vette, m4, c63 and a few others.

If it looks like the concept 2020, yes.
