2017 Porsche Panamera Caught Running Nürburgring, Without Cammo

The next-generation Porsche Panamera has been spotted testing ahead of its planned launch late this year, with these latest pictures showing the car in almost completely undisguised form for the first time.

The car looks almost production ready in these new shots, which show it being subjected to high-speed testing at the Nürburgring, with only certain sections hidden under covers, including the rear lights.

I still like the look of that car, though I know it has its detractors.

Porsche has my admiration for not jumping on the fashion-du-jour and latest trend bandwagons. It's a big part of why a 10-year-old Porsche still looks attractive. I also love how they lean heavily to real switches and knobs rather than moving loads of functionality into a computer screen that requires a driver to divert their attention to menus, changing screen, soft-keys, pages, and layers of user interface stuff.

I suspect my next vehicle will be a Porsche for these reasons, plus the fact that they're premium (luxury?) cars. This is unusual because Porsche are known for their strong sports slant, and that's much lower on my priority list.

It at least looks slightly better than the current one.

Great. Now it looks like a 4-Door 911. I don't think this is an improvement, not that its target buyers care. P90D anyone?

Not as humpy looking. Round exhaust pipes. Looking good.
