Carlsson CK60: More goodness for the new CL

Mercedes tuner Carlsson has just released info on their newest über-coupe, the Carlsson CK60. Based on the already formidable Mercedes CL 600 with its bi-turbo V12, Carlsson works some of their magic and raises horsepower from 517 to an eponymous 600 and torque goes up to a staggering 740 ft lbs. Even in such a large coupe, this is enough to snap off 4.4 second 0-60 times all day long. Because of tire restrictions, top end is governed at 320 km/h or 199 mph.

And to make the journey towards the double-century mark more enjoyable, the exhaust note has been retuned through the use of new center and rear elements as well as new quad exhaust tips. The interior has been fitted with a combination of Alcantara and leather with rhombus quilting ,plus a Carlsson sports steering trimmed with either leather and Alcantara or leather and wood.

ah,,, my buddy has same rims on S550... truthfully, it looks nicer on sedans I think.

about how many tuners does MB use on their cars? ive seen this one and brudos(sp) before and is this the same thing as AMG?

I love the new S-Class with all my heart, but the CL? Not so much. They lost a lot of elegance there.

No tuner in the world can improve that hideous rear of the NEW CL.
Rest Of the car is fine.
BTW rims are same on both Carlsson models.S class Sedan and CL CLass Coupe.

If that front bumper was molded as one piece then it wont be tacky. I think it looks alright. Perhaps the spoiler should be a "LIP" spoiler instead of a big piece like that.

wow thats crazy, is their a good reason for that? cant they just find one or two that they like or is it some rich people thing where you never want to see a similar car like the one you just bought? i mean how many diff things can these tuners do to the same line of vehicles?

Lorinser and Brabus are amazing merc tuners, however, although i worship mercedes, this new cl is ugly, something wrong with the back, the CLS to me is the most beautifull car in the world..
