SPIED: The BEST Pics Of The Second-Gen Porsche Panamera Reveals The GOODS — Does It Get YOUR Approval?
In the car world, it was a big deal with Porsche decided to offer up a four-door sedan for those with deep pockets. It followed the very controversial sport-utility vehicle that, essentially, saved the sports car automaker so it wasn't as crazy to imagine a sedan.

And it sold like crazy. For a long time you couldn't go anywhere without seeing a Panamera here or a Panamera there. Now it's time for the follow up to the original.

Of course that means there are some big shoes to fill, but being that it's Porsche, you can rest assured that the company will take it head one.

Seen pretty much fully nude, this second-gen Panamera appears to be a Turbo model. Note the yellow calipers?

The interior is expected to get significant updates with a much larger infotainment screen and even more accoutrements than what we're already used to. Expect to see some Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series-like technology make its way into the Porsche.

All that said, we're a bit curious now that it's essentially revealed: Does the second-gen Panamera get YOUR seal of approval?

If I were spending that amount of money, it would not be on a hatchback.

Take a look at photo #5 (direct side view) and google a similar gen 1 image. The hunchback has been fixed...the roofline now follows a proper shape.

It's still a hatchback and hatchbacks are fine for entry, wheezer, automotive appliances and coupes of all ranges but not for a Porsche "sedan". And don't bother prattling on about how this is a 4-door coupe. Coupe = 2 doors.

Yes it is better than the first Panamera, but it's still a long way from perfect.

I like it! That new roofline is a huge improvement. The question will be will it get the new 4-cylinder turbo power plant??

Definitely an improvement. They better not put the 4 in that big assed car. It would be a dog like the 528. In their quest for world car domination I really wish they would hurry up and come with the Pajun.

It's a lot less controversial....meaning it will sell a lot better than the original.
