How Fast? Bentley Reveals Continental GT Speed's Crazy Top Speed

Bentley has revealed its fastest production model yet: the revised Continental GT Speed, which has a top speed of 206mph.

The Speed's twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine produces 633bhp, up from 626bhp in its predecessor, and an extra 15lb ft, making a total of 620Ib ft.

This extra torque is applied throughout the rev range via reoptimisation of boost control, which raises maximum torque delivery from 2000-5000rpm and improves acceleration. The Speed achieves 0-60mph in 3.9sec, shaving 0.3sec of its predecessor.

I actually like the yellow accents but can't imagine too many Bentley buyers would opt for that color scheme. I also sort of understand the "mine if faster than yours" concept, but can someone please explain where you can drive 206mph let alone 180 or 190.

The Bentley model range is really the next best thing to a Bugatti Veyron/Chiron. Where else can 6,000 pounds do 205 MPH?

...And at 10% of the cost of the Bugatti!
