RUMOR MILL: Could Lexus Be Planning An 800HP Second Generation LFA?
The report comes from way over in Japan and comes to finally dispute Lexus and Toyota executives that claimed the LFA would remain unique for the foreseeable future. That could change – for the benefit of everyone – if the report about a second generation LFA pans out.

The folks over at Japanese website Response claim Lexus is back in the lab and is brewing another LFA that might be featured in the “near” future at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. Apparently the supercar would deploy hybridized 3.7-liter V8 engine with a hulking 800 horsepower (588 kilowatts).

We’re unsure if Yamaha will again have a go at helping them but if the report is true the power bump would be of 240 hp even though it had to slash two cylinders from the original’s elegant V10 configuration.

why would anyone buy a car with more than a 175hp? Big Lex and Benz fan, but really!

Its like having a 12" schlong, but you can only fit 4" in the tube. What a f**king waste!

Oh Goodie! We need an 800 H.P. car. Makes about as much sense as a S&W .50 caliber carry gun. Engineering is going in the wrong direction.
