Critics Of American F1 Team Claim They Are Riding On The Coattails Of Ferrari
Romain Grosjean dismissed criticism of Haas’ approach to formula one as little more than “jealousy”.

Sore losers! Putting together a full effort to score F1 points is no easy trick. They are just jealous that a Johnny come lately American team is putting points on the board. Haas is one tough competitor who wins everywhere because of his work ethic and attention to detail. To his critics I say "Win or go home!"

Yes, they have benefited from Ferrari's experience, but they also suffer any potential manufacturing issues. Haas does not have Ferrari's chassis, front suspension or aero "refinement". Haas does have a race director and manager that are not afraid to take risks.

Haas has benefited from good hiring decisions and the ability to, albeit at risk, purchase a chassis, which appears to be pretty competitive in both race and qualifying trim.

Haas was not going to challenge at the front of the grid, but to fight in the mid-field. To this, Haas is working as well.
