You got that right nguyenvuminh! Give it up Sergio...no ones going to get in bed with you after you have thrown yourself at everyone and were turned down. Spreading your legs and pleading for someone to marry you hasn't worked. Its time you looked inward and face up to the mess you have created and make the necessary hard decisions. Your time is running out. Your shareholders are tired of your prostration and will throw you out unless you change your tune and your course. Time to earn that big salary or get out.

Vw may have the Platforms - but it will not have the Money to produce MORE BRANDS - they arlready have too many - where would Alfa and Maserati fit? Not going to happen.

Ford does not need Jeep - and they already ended their sojourn into the European Luxury market by getting out of Jaguar/Volvo/Rover - I doubt they would replace them with ALfa and Maserati either.

For a Multitude of reasons - I cannot see a major Japanese player hook up with FCA - their reputation for reliability problems would scare Toyota.

A merger with VW would be idiocy.

Ford needs Jeep as a premium "Land Rover/Range Rover" brand to pair with Lincoln. Ford will buy when the situation is more dire.

Hyundai/Kia is the most obvious partner.

On second thought, VW acquiring FCA could be a public relations boon to VW. VW could buy a sick company, keep workers employed as atonement for their dieselgate sins.

The next President can give them money for new platforms and the cashrape of taxpayers can happen again.

Brilliant.

Marchionne is merely trying to find someone else to kill Chrysler and Dodge so in his legacy he is not the bad guy who destroyed Chrysler once and for all.

The truth is not Marchionne's friend.

And to think we thought the Gestapo (aka Mercedes) was bad for Chrysler...
