Ecclestone Say No Women In Formula One, Because They Are Physically Too Weak
The most powerful man in motor racing says women will never be taken seriously as drivers because they aren’t strong enough.

Bernie Ecclestone, the Formula One chief executive, said women had their own strengths but would never be accepted into the world’s No. 1 motor sport.

Unlike American motorsports such as NASCAR, Formula One does not have an overtly macho culture. The reigning world champion—with back-to-back titles—is Lewis Hamilton, a well-groomed and well-spoken Englishman who weighs less than 150 pounds.

Some old stereotypes die hard.

The fact is when we view women AS A GROUP and compare them to men AS A GROUP, we readily conclude that men are stronger, taller, etc. However, each person is an individual, and so it is equally true that certain individual women are stronger or taller than certain specific men. Similarly, some specific women might excel as F1 drivers, or at video gaming (usually seen as a guy's domain), etc. Let each person stand on their own merit! Ever hear of Evelyn Glenny? She's a world-renown percussionist, who was initially rejected from entering music school because she was deaf. Turns out she's incredible, in spite of her deafness.

My best friend is a retired US Navy aviator, fighter pilot, test pilot, military flight instructor (etc.). He told me the best fighter pilot he's ever had the pleasure of working with, was... a woman. (FYI, being a fighter pilot is extremely gruelling physical work in the heat of maneuvers).

It's possible Ecclestone isn't quite ready to step into the 20th Century (let alone the 21st) with his Old Boy mindset.

Steve, you wouldn't be suggesting that someone like, say, Ronda Rousey, could kick Bernie's 5' 3" frame with a single punch, now would you? :)

Ladies and you gents too all you need to know about this egotistical male chauvinist is that his office walls are covered with framed copies of Penthouse magazine covers. What does that tell you. In his conference room he has one million dollars displayed under glass. He may be rich as hell but he is a first class jerk of the highest order. He suffers from short man disease...feelings of inadequacy and tries to make up for it with bravado. It ain't working! No offense to short men intended ...my Dad was short but he was a terrific guy.

Ecclestone, Terry. At least Trump married them. Can you imagine Hillary sitting at the very desk where Bubba use to get serviced by Monica.

Technically you are correct - - - marries a new child Russian bride every few years and discards them once the first wrinkle appears than can't be easily removed with plastic surgery. Thank god he is all about family values - - - making his money in the gambling business which includes bribery, money laundering and prostitution while using cheap undocumented immigrant labor.

Can see you are not a Trump fan...so be it, I understand why. Not a Hillary fan myself for very good reasons as well.

I'm no Hilary fan myself - - - but what does she that have to do with being a egotistical male chauvinist?

Trump is a dead horse but you are just to plain stupid to admit it. I can do without this site, but this is obviously your whole life and your balls would crawl up into your sac self castrating you without it. Your wife can't stand to be around you, you're an embarrassment to you father-in-law, and an absent father to your kids - - - this is all you have in your pathetic life. Any other site would have kicked your sorry ass off long ago, so this is really all you have.
