Fuel Efficiency in Europe is stated differently - instead of measuring just MPG - it also measures the residue that goes out the tailpipe - which also indicates how efficient the set-up is. So - by measuring Carbon Dioxide emissions - the less out the tailpipe the better the economy.

Mitsubishi is literally a shadow if its former self already due to other scandals of the past - and I believe its best selling car is sold as a Nissan already. THey once produced some compelling sports vehicles and it is a shame to see them implode again - although there is no longer any compelling car to point to for them to survive. Mitsubishi is a HUGE conglomerate - and the cars have not made real money for years - I doubt they will spend the money needed to return the division to it former place - and in the place they are now - they may as well shut it down.
