Is Mercedes Total Domination Of The Sport Slowly Killing Formula 1?
Russian official on Sunday expressed concern that Mercedes’ continuing dominance is hurting formula one.

“The difference between Mercedes and the other teams is catastrophic,” Igor Ermilin, the presidential advisor to the Russian automobile federation, told Tass news agency after the country’s grand prix.

While there have been signs Ferrari and Red Bull are finally closing the gap to Mercedes, at Sochi the silver team’s advantage was almost a second in qualifying and in the race Nico Rosberg won with ease.

YES! I love F1 and I understand that we always have a dominant manufacturer but MBs domination is killing the sport. Not really sure what they should do to make it more competitive but I would love to see the old V12s and their sound back!

No! No one ever asked this question when Ferrari was winning year after year. F1 is boring not because of Mercedes but because of its rules. "Win the pole, win the race" is not a winning formula.

No. Red Bull and Ferrari both had long periods of dominance and the sport continued. High ticket and viewing prices are what is hurting F1.

Mercedes just out engineered the other teams this series.
