TEASED! It's Coming! Audi's All-New A5/S5 Gets Teased Via Online Campaigns — Do You Like What You SEE So Far?
It seems like it was only yesterday I found myself back in San Diego to drive the all-new Audi A4. While I, like many others, balked at the fact it was not a revolutionary change generation-over-generation compared to the B8 A4, I have to say that the B9 product is a strong one.

Inside and out it's heads and shoulders better than the last-gen car. If buyers will gravitate to it, we shall see.

**Read Agent00R's review of the all-new Audi A4 HERE!

Now that the drive and review is over with though, it's time to see what's next in line from the four rings. As you'd suspect at this stage, it's time for the boys and girls from Ingolstadt to unveil the coupe version of the A4.

That would be the A5 and S5, respectively.

Much like the A4 we expect its design not to change dramatically. Where you'll see a marked difference will be its interior that will be completely revised as well as feature some game changing technology. Examples include the large, TFT instrument panel and simple touches like the sensors that activate so that once you park your vehicle, if someone is driving up from behind you it will light up the door card in red to notify you NOT open your door — when driving the Q7 a week ago I greatly appreciated this little nifty move.

Leading up to the A5's June 2 debut the four rings has launched an online campaign featuring GIFs that highlight the all-new Audi's strong points. Check 'em out below and let us know what you think. Do you like what you see so far?

What I "see" so far is a load of meh. I'll wait until Audi has something to show us.

The 2012 A5 looked spot on, but it has lost its charm since. I hope Audi gets its magic back on that one. I don't care for the LCD virtual dials and gizmos display, though. It's a great idea, though poorly executed. It's as though they lack UI experts and let marketing designers come up with the look and feel (like Microsoft actually did with Windows 8!)

I guess different strokes for different folks!

I happen to like the company's new IP.

Really hoping the A5 Sportback is a home run, and it gets here by December 2017. Highly considering for my next lease, but the outside design will make or break that decision.

Well, I don't see too many BMW 3 GTs aside from dealer loaners.

Will be interesting to see if this niche gets legs with something slick looking.

I see the Sportback as a closer competitor to the 4 series GranCoupe. Do not see too many of them, but I think they look better than the 3 sedan.

I don't care for their new chrome trim grill treatment - the old one was much cooler. That's all I have - I'll now sit back and wait for MDarringer to explain why Chevy's new El Camino will dominate this segment.

Of course the El Camino will dominate. It's obvious to everyone.

Looks like "meet the new A5 that looks the same as the old A5" will be the response when it is fully unveiled.

You know the looks will be evolutionary and generic Audi...what I really would like to see is an Audi that feels alive in your hands and is entertaining to drive. The problem in the past has been the engine being forward of the front axle and inert steering. Cannot argue with quality of build but I'm waiting for Audi tobuild a car that gets my driving passion in high gear.

Bingo. Quattro was what Audi did when VW would not spring for RWD platforms decades ago. Audis can produce good numbers, but an AMG is much more engaging to drive.

Clever advertising!

Audi Geek-Out note...how 'bout the dashboard disco dude on the IP of the 199X Audi 200 S4/S5?

As long as it doesn't look chubby like the current car.
