Tesla Hauled To Court Over Model X Under Lemon Law

Despite what Elon Musk might be telling you, not everything is peachy in the land of Tesla. We've seen how the Autopilot is far from being a finished product with way too many restrictions (don't go into roundabouts, mind the stationary vehicles, and so on), and we're also well aware of the quality issues faced by the company's and the world's first ever production electric SUV.

Regardless of how many news and reports you might have read on the subject, your experience is nowhere near complete as Barrett Lyon's. He is the proud owner of a Tesla Roadster and a Tesla Model S.

Lies! All lies. Tesla does not make defects. It makes amazing EVs!!!

Joking aside, any large-scale automobile manufacturer is bound to have the occasional (and rare) example of "sh*t happens, in a big way." This might be it for Tesla. What we need to ascertain is if this is an isolated example -- in which case, no big deal for Tesla consumers at large -- or whether this is more common than Joe Public knows.

Poor Lyon, I know the guy, albeit not that well, and hope he gets compensated for all the hassle. How disappointing!

Why so much hate against Tesla all the time??

Yes, buyers are entitled to products that are trouble-free and perform as promised. But I'm sensing a lot of sentiment toward the renegade up-start... that really isn't justified.

Keep in mind that Tesla has gone where no other auto company has gone before. They truly are innovators, and have accomplished a great deal for such a small player.

Sounds like the automotive establishment (and some industry journalists) are feeling threatened!
