STUD or DUD? An All-New Top Gear Premieres In The U.S. Last Night — DId It SLAY Or Was It A STINKER?
We all know it was the punch heard around the world. While Jeremy Clarkson is known around the world for being one of television's best presenters, he certainly did not make any friends over at the BBC.

That's because he consistently got the broadcasting company in hot water over his antics, whether it were controversial quotes or a punched producer. That seemed to be the straw that broke the camel's back and the BBC took him out with the trash.

While we're eagerly awaiting for Clarkson, Andy Wilman, Richard Hammond and James May to reunite via the boob tube on their all-new program called The Grand Tour, we were interested to see just how the BBC's resurrected Top Gear would come together.

Now fronted by famous radio DJ Chris Evans and former Friend's castmate Matt LeBlanc, the show has an all-new chemistry to work through. That said, we're a bit curious about TWO things:

1) Did you tune into the all-new incarnation of Top Gear? And if so...

2) Was the all-new Top Gear a STUD or a DUD?

As I said in the last article - I watched and it was a disaster. No chemistry and no witty British humor. Has me questioning what is worse: History Channel American Top Gear or BBC British Top Gear. Sadly, I'm not sure.

At least American Top Gear, bad as it is, has hit a stride and developed some plausible relationships amongst its guests.

The BBC Top Gear was horrible - without the fun pranks and antics of Jeremy and crew, it was just a car show driving bad cars. And the whole Gordan Ramsey Jessie Eisenberg guest bit was TERRIBLE. Could any worse a paring be made. It was painfully obvious the Jessie just isn't a car guy, that's ok of course BUT DON'T HAVE HIM BE A GUEST ON A CAR SHOW.

Agree with Agent00J - whoever decided that Eisenberg would be a good guest for a car show needs to be canned immediately.

What I saw was Chris Evans trying to be manically enthusiastic. He was shouting and hopping around like he's mainlined some of Walter White's meth. Matt LeBlanc was perfect. He had humor and was as steady as he could be. Evans is the downfall. He is a terrible presenter. They should ramp up LeBlanc's "American in Britain" role and give him quirky assignments where he confronts the quirkiness of the UK.

The celebrity segment was terrible. You could tell Gordon Ramsay was not happy being there and that he had been prevailed upon.
