Porsche 718 Cayman Production Has Begun - Is Yours On Order?

Porsche have started producing the 718 Cayman at their plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany.

The facility will be putting together all of the brand's two-door sports cars from August, when production will increase from more than 220 units per day to around 240 examples.

"The production launch of the Cayman successor models was executed to our full satisfaction. After the successful launches of the new 911 at the end of last year and of the new 718 Boxster in spring 2016, the team in Zuffenhausen also handled this production launch impeccably.

Nope. I'd rather buy a used one and enjoy the sound of a fabulous flat six. Porsche has ruined the car with this turbo four. I could give a crap if it is faster or it supposedly gets better fuel economy(which is suspect I think). For that kind of money there are a whole bunch of cars out there.
