Tesla Owner Claims Model X Accelerated And Crashed All By Itself

Just five days after receiving his car, the owner of a brand-new Tesla Model X saw his ride destroyed when it purportedly accelerated on its own in a parking lot and crashed into a building.

In a posting on the TeslaForum, user 'Puzant' blamed the automaker, stating that "Tesla should stop deliveries and investigate the cause of this serious accident", as the car "suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated at high speed on its own, climbing over 39 feet of planters and crashing into a building", while entering a parking stall.

At least its one less of those ugly cars on the road. Looks like a cross between and AMC Eagle and a Pontiac Aztec. DO NOT like the Model X.

More like another case of user error.

Brake pedals are in cars for a reason.

Call "60 Minutes" tell them they have a new Audi 5000 story.

This is typical user error and not being willing to admit that they f'ed up.

By the way, I'm changing my name to AgentOrange.

Tick...tock...tick...tock...tick...tock...

Its only a matter of time before Tesla implodes.

Customer deposits as working capital will only go so far.

Isn't this the second Model X "unintended acceleration" incident?

Classic sudden acceleration scenario; parking lot or driveway when the brake peddle mysteriously acts as the accelerator. Only missing piece is the driver's age.

I think this X owner was trying to duplicate this:
