While Jaguar makes very good cars, they didn’t manage to sell nearly as many cars like BMW or Mercedes, two of their main competitors. One of the reasons why this happened is that they didn’t have a crossover in the lineup. This is about to be changed with the release of the F-Pace model.

Currently Jaguar sells in a year what Mercedes sells in 3 weeks. Their dismal sales are not solely because they lack crossovers.

The XJ is ugly and has no XJ DNA. The previous Forduar XJ typically sold better than Callum's Merkur Scorpio homage.

The F Type should have been aimed at the Corvette's base price point and there it would have had volume and not been a footnote.

At this point the only way Jaguar can survive is to crank out the crossovers as fast as they can.

This looks like an Evoque.

Perhaps Jag will get a restyled version of the Evoque.
