Need to give potential buyers a sizeable financial incentive and a top quality product reasons to buy in premium segment similar to Lexus's strategy when it first took on Germans.

The Genesis--if compared without the lens of cultural bigotry--compares very well with premium sedans and is actually much better in reliability.
