Pretty nice stuff, see there is plenty of exterior colors and side blades available. But this is for the UK market, with starting price of around £ 76,000. That price in the UK slots nicely between the 911 4s and the 911 GT3, exactly what I thought. I imagine that Porsche rips of its customers exactly the same in the UK as it does here with regard to options. This translates that the American R8 will cost between 93 and 100,000 dollars. Again, exactly what I thought before.

On to a Different Topic;
Anybody who wants a Good Laugh should read Jeremy Clarkson's Latest Book
" I KNOW YOU GOT SOUL"
Ive just started it last night and I have been cracking up all day, the man really is something else and has a way of narrating events with a wickedy cynical view that actually works out to be a quite Honest Breakdown of the End Results

true, and you also can't compare them because you could almost buy both an M6 and an R8 for the price of one SL65.

You can buy for better performance, better design, better interior, more exclusivity. Those seem like some great reasons.

Only 15 R8s will be built each day. That is definately exclusive. The RS4 (about 500 pounds heavier than the R8 with the same engine) already matches the M6 around a race track (the famous Ring in fact) it is a bit slower in straight line acceleration, the R8 will be equal or better in straight line acceleration and it will destroy the M6 on a race track/backroad twisties.
