Maserati Recalls Over 13,000 Quattroporte And Ghibli Models For Roll Away Risk
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV's Maserati unit is recalling 13,092 2014 Quattroporte and Ghibli luxury cars in the United States because they may roll away after drivers mistakenly believe they have engaged the vehicles in 'park' mode, documents posted on a government website Thursday showed.

In April, Fiat Chrysler recalled 1.1 million vehicles worldwide over the same issue, including the 2012-14 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 sedans and 2014-15 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs, over a confusing gear shift lever.

FCA is basically an Italian Farce Comedy at this point. Good thing the purchased Chrysler/Jeep for virtually zero 5 years ago, because the value of the whole thing is basically on its was back to zero.

So very true. The Chinese will buy the American arm, keep Jeep and Ram, kill Dodge and Chrysler, and install their brand as the mainstream brand.

They won't have any interest in Fiat, Alfa Romeo, or Maserati.

Spinning Ferrari was all about keeping it from getting grabbed when eventually FCA implodes.

As counterintuitive as it sounds, VW should buy FCA's American arm for Jeep and Ram (two segments it does not compete in effectively), and sell Skodas either as Skodas or as Chryslers.

Could the recent trademarking of Skoda names be evidence of this?
