CONFIRMED: More Mercedes-AMG GT Variants On The Way — How Would YOU Expand The Lineup?
This past week brought the debut of an all-new Mercedes-AMG GT at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed. Dubbed the GT R, it's a more hardcore, road-going variation of the Mercedes-AMG GT S.

That means more power, active aerodynamics, a more aggressive look and, of course, more exclusivity. So, now what? Where does the AMG GT go from here?

According to AMG head honcho, Tobias Moers, the GT will have more variations coming down the 'pike. One Moers explicitly named is a GT4 car that's only meant for racing at the track. While the GT3 racer is over $400,000 per unit and extreme, the GT4 is meant to bridge the gap between the all-new GT R and wild GT3 racer.

From where I am sitting, this is what we're expecting:

- AMG GT
- AMG GT Roadster
- AMG GT S
- AMG GT S Roadster
- AMG GT R
- AMG GT4
- AMG GT3

That said, do you foresee any other additions coming to the Mercedes-AMG GT lineup?

AMG-GT "4 door coupe"...there's a rendering going around. Could work as a "luxury" CLA kind of car..

I guess it's no coincidence that it looks like a 911.
