CAR WARS! Drag Race Edition: A Battle You Have To SEE To Believe — Challenger Hellcat vs. Nissan GT-R vs. Porsche 911 Turbo S
Whoever thought this day would come? This is one of those battles that sounds almost comical; however, you do have to realize there is some merit to it. That's because of the participants involved are stupid fast.

While each of the cars provide completely unique driving experiences, we just want to know one thing: WHICH is the fastest in a race?

First up in black trunks is the Dodge SRT Challenger Hellcat. Producing over 700 horsepower to the rear wheels, it's a monster.

Next up in champagne is the Nissan GT-R. After a refresh for the 2017 model year, it's more powerful and luxurious than ever. Known for crushing its competition, we're excited to see what it brings to the table.

Last, but certainly not least, is the most expensive contestant here. That would be the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Though it may cost a pretty penny, or about 20 million, it is staggeringly fast when you use the Launch Control feature. Some magazines have tested its zero to 60 time as low as 2.7 seconds.

So, who takes the cake? Well, watch and see below!

This is very simple: we have three great sports cars from three great car-making countries. And we want to know which is fastest in a quarter-mile drag race.

From the USA, we have the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. From Germany, we have the Porsche 911 Turbo S. And from Japan, we have the car that has so far out-dragged everything we've put it up against, the Nissan GT-R.

This time, though, the GT-R might have met its match. After all, the 911 Turbo S is four-wheel drive and rear engined. The Hellcat is neither of those ... but it does have 707bhp.

Which do you think will be quickest?

Just goes to show you what AWD contributes to acceleration.

I would take any of them 3 but that way that Hellcat sounds, its just unbelievable. You see all those comparisons about how fast the TESLA is but they can keep it. I would take anything slower that makes sounds just like this Hellcat.

I guess we are all different. I like the sound of the Hellcat but only for a little while. I prefer a much quieter car.

That's why I drive a Fusion on the days I don't feel like listening to my Mustang bark and rumble.

Typical rigged Eurocrap testing parameters from Autocar. The Porsche won (slightly) only because the Nissan GTR they used is an older 2015 version down on horsepower from 2016 & 2017 GTR models.

They don't care! They got us all to watch the video, so they got their "impressions" and this site has its comments.

Regardless of Autocar's intent, it still doesn't mask their bogus attempt to slyly manipulate the test results in favor of the Porsche.
