Paris Motor Show: Audi R8 cutaways
Normally, anyone guilty of cutting up a beautiful supercar such as the Audi R8 would have us looking to perform the same treatment on the perpetrator. In this case, however, we'll let the crime go unpunished, since this peak under the skin of Ingolstadt's new Autobahn burner gives us a chance to admire it for more that just its looks.

Autobahns arent strait roads... backroads r unusable, because u never see behind the corner so unless u r preapered to die for a minute of fun i suggest u stay on the autobahns

Just got off the phone with the Audi dealer. I decided this is my next car. Putting the deposit down tomorrow. I won't see it until late 07 early 08. Black w/ Carbon fibre?

NICE. This car is gorgeous. Black is unbelievable on it-- I've seen it on the R8 microsite.

Are you getting yours loaded?

Which rims? I hope the 19s.

Yeah. I'll definetly get the 19's. B&0 sound. Carbon Fibre. Can't figure out why the B&O sound is so much less expensive than in the S8. I realize there are a few less speakers but by my estimation it's like $3500-4000 less. But yeah, I'm going to max it out.

The Bang & Olufsen is incredible, best "factory" sound system I've heard in a car. I actually think I have a video demo of it somewhere on my work computer and you can hear the sound travel from left to right and around your head (if you have surround sound at home). I was a really cool demo. If I can find it, I'll post it up.

Those are great cutaways, you can see the Audi Space Frame (aluminum) and BTW Autobahns are some of the smoothest public roads available in the world, they must be smooth for you to go @ 155 mph.

That makes sense. It is harder to build into an existing design than to start from scratch. Thanks.
