Audi Clings To 66th Consecutive Monthly Increase With A 1% Gain In June Sales
The previous June record was set in 2015 with 18,262 Audi vehicles sold. Through the first six months of 2016, Audi U.S. sales have risen 3.5 percent from last year to 96,934 vehicles. Audi sold more vehicles in the U.S. during the first six months of 2016 than in any full year prior to 2010.

Demand for Audi SUVs bolstered June sales with a 29 percent increase over June 2015. The Q3 posted 1,719 vehicles sold for the month, a 98 percent increase over last June. Sales of the Q5 rose 3.5 percent over last June, to 4,419 vehicles. Q7 sales rose 60 percent from last June, to 2,613 vehicles.

“Consumer demand for our SUVs is driving record sales,” said Mark Del Rosso, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. “As we enter the summer selling season, we are certain that the outstanding performance of the dealer network will result in another successful year.”

The all-new A4 Sedan posted sales of 2,802 vehicles in June. Year-to-date sales have increased 10 percent over 2015.

The new A3 Sportback e-tron had 353 deliveries in June and 1,942 vehicles sold year-to-date.

VW in the USA is really making deals to try to keep profits up by pushing Audis as VW sales implode. Yet, with all the fanfare of "yet another month of Audi sales growth" it still lags way behind Mercedes for volume.
