SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's G-Wagon Isn't Gone JUST YET — Refreshed G On The Way?

Spotted at a Mercedes-Benz facility abroad was something peculiar. It was a fully camouflaged Mercedes-Benz G-Class. This strikes as peculiar for a couple reasons:

1) We were under the impression that the latest iteration of the G would be its final — the company did release, after all, the Final Edition; and,

2) Why would Mercedes do a fully camouflaged G-Class? It seems a bit odd given that there's not much to hide after all these years and there is not much room for the G wagon to change.

Frankly, I have no idea what could be up the three-pointed star's sleeve.

It has released the G with all of its heavy duty motors — including the AMGs — and it is delivering the truck in 6x6 and 4x4 fashion.

Care to hazard any guesses, Spies?

How about a new chassis and suspension set up. There are three of these in my town and all the owners love the exclusivity and image this thing projects but all of them say it rides like crap on road.
