The Forums are full of rumors that Mercedes-Benz is building an X6/Q6 competitor, since MB registered a trademark in Germany for the letters 'GLC.' Nobody is really sure what those 3 letters will be used for or if they will ever be used. Could the GLC stand for..

GLC.
1)GERMAN's LAND CRUISER
2)GL COUPE
..etc

And what about that AUDI Q6.Never heared the rumours before about this possible new Audi. It's highly unlikely.

I don't think that any X6/Q6 vehicles will ever come to fruition. Plus, MB already tries that type of vehicle with the R class. It hasn't been the most succesful.

Same stuff as he did for other posters before. Not even closely related to VW or Audi, but works on all cars.

There's no Q6, and I doubt the X6 will see the light of day. The X7, which would be LX-sized, would make more sense for BMW.

Q5: X3-sized sports luxury SUV; will be the only vehicle in its segment available with a powerful V8.

Q3 & X1: A new breed of small SUVs that will be pioneered by Audi and BMW (I'm pretty sure the Q3 comes out first, but I believe they're both in development). As if there aren't already enough sizes of crossover SUVs on the market, these take the ladder down further- they will arguably be the smallest luxury SUVs available.

The Q6 and X6 are only rumors, along with this GLC from Mercedes.

@ S4cabriofox

Search the web and you'll find dozens of websites talking about the Q6 and X6

elsup-

Then where do the Q5, X3, X7, Q3 and X1 fit in?

That's just too many SUV variants. I can see MB doing it because they're crazy with new models, but not BMW and Audi, I hope.
