The #1 Mission Of The All-New Jeep Wrangler: Don't Screw It Up
When it comes to iconic vehicles, the product teams behind the development of these particular automobiles are always stuck in between a rock and a hard place. This is because icons are tough to move into an all-new era.

We've seen this with cars like the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang and Porsche 911. Buyers are reluctant to change.

But in an age where manufacturers are being pressured by more regulations — safety and fuel efficiency — and by the enthusiast community for more power, something's gotta give. From what we know, the next-gen Jeep Wrangler is going to be a Duesey. That's because it is thought to make use of aluminum construction, updated aerodynamics and more revisions to make it fuel efficient.

If the rumors are true that the windshield does not fold and the doors are not removable, those will be two major stumbles. The turbo 4 is exactly what you don't want for off-roading.

MD: I agree with the above comment if you are an off roader. If so, the used jeep market will heat up and / or New Jeep Sales will heat up so that buyers can get the equipment they want now. I have had 2 previous jeeps that I used for snow plowing. Your comment does not apply to all buyers.

I never said it applied to all buyers, but mental note, it may be time to stockpile a few good Wranglers to flip.

I do think the Jeep Gladiator (Wrangler pickup) will be a major score.
