Even though many people said that the Camry would be discontinued, only a few days ago a camouflaged car has been spied testing. This was wearing the Toyota badge and from the look of it, the car seems to be the upcoming Camry. This is great news because the Camry is the best-selling family sedan around the World. It is dependable, quite efficient and highly durable.

Looks like Toyota s borrowing a page from Audi. Meet the new Camry...same as the old Camry. I find it interesting that the prototype has the "old people" conventional sedan roofline rather than following the coupesedan trend of the other big sellers in the market.

But hey, look at it like this. If you want a Passat and don't want any of the nightmares of owning a VW, the Camry awaits.

The "Camry" may be the largest selling NAME for a car - but the car now selling in the USA is different from the one selling in Asia (The Camry Named car is not sold in Europe either).

THe Camry is a boring - last place or near in most tests - and only had going for it its reliability.

Actually, the strengths of the Camry, in addition to reliability, is that it's inoffensive, quiet, smooth-riding, and easy-driving. Remember, not everyone needs a fun-to-drive car and sales numbers clearly show that (hello, Mazda6). Even for myself, when I've rented a Camry or an Altima, there's a feeling of relief knowing I'm just driving a nice, smooth, comfy car around town.
