SPIED: The REFRESHED Porsche 911 991.2 GT3 Gets EXPOSED — Can YOU Spot The Changes?
I have to admit, when the all-new Porsche 911 991 generation GT3 debuted, I was a bit disappointed. While the vehicle clearly was in its top form, which means it was light, fast and hardcore, I wasn't so jacked up.

That's because, well, it was equipped with some new technology and features that, more or less, take away from the purity of the stripped-out GT3's driving experience.

The 991 GT3 featured a dual-clutch transmission only (PDK), its steering setup switched from hydraulic to electric, and the vehicle made use of rear-wheel steering. This was a far cry from the 997 GT3 that basically had four wheels, two seats and a massive rear spoiler.

While the vehicle has, predictably, been massively popular some of the purists made it known the car on offer sans a third pedal was problematic. This is rumored to be addressed in the refreshed 991.2 set to debut in short order.

Seen here in these leaked images, the 991.2 GT3 gets modest changes.

On the outside you'll note the following:

- Modified, LED driving lights in line with other 991.2 vehicles
- Updated taillights that match the other 991.2s
- All-new front valence that is differentiated from the 991.1
- Rear wing that appears to be slightly different from the first 991 iteration

So, what do you think, Spies? Is this a move in the RIGHT direction?

Make a microscopic change. Call it all new. Shake the hands of 911-addicted snobs as they sign the contract.

The question being asked in the headline for this article is perfect for a hardcore Porschephile. While the rest of us won't notice much, if any, at all. Then again, Porshes don't really change much at all, even during a completely redesigned model. For what it's worth, I like the current design changes, but asking me to spot it...I'm gonna need a microscope for that. lol

These guys are right. Unless you drive one already, the changes are simply cosmetic tweaks. Except for the tranny. That manual transmission will be fun though not for the track. A bit of a contradiction for this car but collectors will rejoice. Save for those who saw massive 997 numbers that are about to vanish in the speculative market...

My point is that the hardcore Porschephiles would buy it even if all Porsche did was put magic pixie dust on it.

I'm not saying it's a bad car but that Porschephiles--ironically--are easy to please. Tell them the wing makes it go 2mph faster and you'll sell out allotment. Tell them that you've got a GT3 RS RS that is being built in limited quantity and they will buy sight unseen. Owning a Porsche franchise is a good thing at the moment.

Porsche changed the headlight screws from chrome plated to stainless steel screews. Increase the retail price another $9,999. now!
