Old School Flavor - Bristol Celebrate 70 Years With New Bullet

Bristol has officially unveiled the new Bullet, complete with a 370bhp BMW V8. The car, which is set to go into production at the beginning of 2017, marks a return to manufacturing for Bristol after the company went into administration in 2011.

The Bullet is designed to celebrate 70 years of Bristol cars and was shown at the company's Kensington showroom today.

Generally, I like retro styling jobs, but this one misses the mark. While it takes its inspiration from 50s/60s Bristols, there's something about its stance that doesn't work for me. It says MG to me more than anything.

I'm sure that production is sold out because it has exclusivity going for it.

Not as coherent as the recent Mini Superleggera, but still an interesting car, more power to them. BTW what ever became of the Mini? Was there ever an announcement of whether they would build it or not???

I seem to recall that the Mini is not being produced.
