Word on the Tokyo street is that there is a Lexus LF-LC Coupe mule running around Japan packing a 600-hp twin-turbo version of the upcoming RC F’s 5.0-liter V-8. That power rating may be on the conservative side. We heard back in March of 2013 that Lexus was overwhelmed by the positive response to the swoopy coupe and decided to go on and green-light it.

well, this will certainly makes things very interesting and could really increase Lexus' image exponentially. If they can keep the weight down (since the LC500 is meant as a GT), then they could really have a foil for the AMG GT R/black Series and the like. If this comes to fruition, this will definitely make things interesting in a very good way. I wonder if they'd remove the back seats to save weight.

also interesting from the article is that Lexus may be creating an "FS" designation to truly compete with AMG, M, and RS.
