Collector Sues Automaker After Not Being Allowed to Purchase A LaFerrari Spider

By the time we hear about the latest limited-production supercar, it is, as often as not, already sold out. A little disappointing, sure, but what are you going to do? Sue the company?

Yes, absolutely, you go right ahead and attempt to sue, at least if you’re Florida flea market emperor/noted Ferrari collector/onetime race driver Preston Henn.

Over the weekend, a Verified Complaint for Damages filed in the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Division, appeared in our inbox. The document, which we’ve attached below, is a mini-drama in 20 parts; it outlines Henn’s history with the Ferrari brand stretching back to the Luigi Chinetti days and highlights his extensive Ferrari collection -- including the 275 GTB/C 6885 Speciale, which some (including, we’ll note, Mr. Henn) speculate may be the most valuable car in the world.

What a pathetic tool.

I've seen men with more money than I will see in a lifetime almost get down to a brawl when competing to buy a pricey vintage car.

Some rich people think they have a right to throw a tantrum when "Neil and Bob" don't show up and the tantrum is usually hilarious to watch.

I had a guy who is a nearly known Corvette collector interested in a 67 Stingray coupe we were nearly finished flipping. He went nutzoid on the color combination. The car was a dark blue with a light gray interior. I chose the color combo and was planning to sell the car to myself. He informed me the correct color was black and demanded it changed so I quoted him a price. He ripped me a new one and I stood there and took it. When he was finished I said nothing. He asked me for my response so I started clapping. He began another tantrum which I shut down hell bent on getting him to leave. He bought the car at full asking price with the interior redone in black at the inflated cost I quoted.

To this day, he still badmouths me, but when people badmouth me I look at it like I won and all they can do is b!+ch.

We installed the interior on another Corvette and because the tool paid for it, I didn't upcharge the next sale.

I won.

Mattie - - - What an ass wipe. There is little wonder why everyone despises you. #HeilGestapoMattie

To quote myself: "...when people badmouth me I look at it like I won and all they can do is b!+ch..." Thank you for proving my point right on cue.

Amazingly, I back Matt on this one. If he owned the car, and it was equipped a particular way and a buyer wanted different equipment (paint, etc.), then they should expect to pay to alter it to their desires. Who cares if it wasn't "period correct"?

Frankly, if that person was attempting to brow-beat me like that, I wouldn't have sold it to him at any price.

Of course, I'm taking Matt's version of the story as accurate! :)

Mattie, Mattie, Mattie. To quote you "...I look at it like I won...", but everyone else looks at it like you lost again. Poor delusional Mattie with his over inflated ego, looks like I still continue to make you my bitch.

@Terry989 You are my pawn: "To quote myself: "'..when people badmouth me I look at it like I won and all they can do is b!+ch...' Thank you for proving my point right on cue."

I manipulated you and you fell for it.

It's so easy to goad you. That shows lack of intelligence because you do get that I am in control of your responses.

When you respond to this, you'll be proving my point.

Use your 60 IQ more intelligently.

"When you respond to this, you'll be proving my point." Nice try, but this only reinforces the reason why everyone on this site and in your life hates you and can't stand to spend any time around you.

I really, really do feel sorry for you (even more so for your wife, kids and father in law). You were dealt a bad hand from the beginning with the prostitute, the aids, the abandonment, the stunted neurological and psychological development. Sad really. Most people would have rose to the challenge and still made something worthwhile out of their life. Instead you continue to devolve and slide deeper into the cesspool you have created for you life. You have turned into the worse kind of person, a retarded, self promoting narcissist. And yes, if you are intelligent enough to decode the underlying message, I won you and I'm baiting you again.

Come on Terry. I disagree with Matt often (almost always!), but no reason to get so personal and nasty. Especially when you have no idea about any of those areas of his life.

@atc980923 - - - I have said before, when Mattie stops being nasty, I stop being nasty. Muzzle Mattie the mutt and you muzzle me. You must be fairly new here since Mattie has already told us directly about most of these aspects of this life (his mom was a drug using prostitute, his father was a stay away dad with aids, he called himself white trash - - - all told to make us feel sorry for him), but since you may have memory retaining issue, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this. If you go back a few years and read who was posting comments, many of these people are now gone because they got tired of being attacked by Matt or have one way discussions where Matt is always right. I'm just not a quitter and refuse to give up on this site.

Matt has stated on here a few times that he is a born again Catholic, yet he revels and others misfortune or loss and hates successful people with money (See 1st post above). Now I'm not a Catholic so I'm just asking, do all Catholics measure their own self worth based on the suffering of other or is envy and jealously a driving facet of their life?

Well, I've been around here for years, so I guess I've just ignored most of it. :)

I don't think you can judge any faith by individuals, regardless of their actions. I am Protestant, but no, I don't think the Catholic faith works that way.
