2017 Audi Q7 E-Tron TDI

2017 Audi Q7 E-Tron TDI
Released in early 2015, the new Q7 managed to become one of the better cars in its class. The car now uses an entirely new modular chassis, more aluminum, and high strength steel. While Audi did say that the car could lose more than 700 pounds, due to the fact it now also has more equipment onboard, the new Q7 can only be around 300 pounds lighter which is still a massive improvement. However, the running gear is what makes it great, so the added weight can easily be disregarded. With the new model, they also released, this time, more recently, the 2017 Audi Q7 E-Tron TDI which is the plug-in version of the new Q7. In Europe, the car will be priced from the equivalent of $88,000. In the US, on the other hand, it still is unclear if it will be available considering VW’s problems with their diesel-engined cars.

I don't care if Audi makes the Q7 nuclear powered—it's still the most boring remake of a car in recent memory.

The fact that Audi would do a TDI Etron just shows that they don't comprehend how TDI is now a curse word in the USA.

Give me a TDI ant day. Purple come into the dealership almost daily asking if we can sell them yet.
A tdi hybrid will be amazing. The tdi 3.0 is one of my favorite engines. The fact that they had a preheater want a cheat device in the 3.0. Different issue then the vw 2.0 issue

Agreed. The TDI was never a problem for consumers - we loved the performance and fuel efficiency, and it was as reliable as they come. I have the Sportwagen TDI, and once settlement terms are final, I'm going to trade it in for a V6 TDI (Q5 or Touareg) if they are available.

The diesel issue consumers had in the past were because those car sucked - smokey, unreliable, slow, etc. This "dieselgate" is purely an issue for environmentalists and regulators; the cars themselves are awesome drives.
